Linga AI Technologies, Inc. ("Linga AI," "we," "us," or "our") operates a SaaS platform that helps private equity and venture capital firms automate portfolio company data collection using AI employees. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

Your privacy is our top priority. We built Linga on the principle that your data belongs to you, not us.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Name and email address
• Company name and role
• Password (encrypted, never stored in plain text)
• Billing information (processed by Stripe, not stored by us)

Portfolio Company Data

• Documents you upload (financial statements, reports, presentations)
• Portfolio company names and identifiers
• Metrics and data you input manually
• Notes and annotations

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve our service:

• Process documents and extract metrics using AI
• Store and display your portfolio data
• Send service notifications and updates
• Provide customer support
• Improve our platform

3. AI Processing

Your documents are NEVER used to train AI models.

We use Anthropic Claude with zero-retention processing. Your data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded. Anthropic does not log, store, or train on your data.

4. Data Security

• AES-256 encryption at rest
• TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
• SOC 2 Type I certified (Type II in progress)
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Multi-factor authentication required

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

We only share data when:

• You explicitly authorize it
• Required by law (subpoena, court order)
• Necessary to provide the service (e.g., Anthropic for AI processing with zero-retention)

6. Your Rights

• Access: Download all your data anytime
• Delete: Permanently delete your data from our systems
• Control: Choose document retention policies
• Portability: Export data in standard formats (JSON, CSV, PDF)

7. Data Retention

You control how long we keep your documents. Options include:

• Delete immediately after extraction (default)
• Keep for 30 days
• Keep for 90 days
• Keep until you delete them manually
