AI Usage Policy

Your data belongs to you. We use AI to help you extract metrics from documents, but we never use your data to train AI models, share it with AI vendors, or allow AI companies to learn from your information.

How We Use AI

We use Anthropic Claude (a large language model) to:

• Read your uploaded documents (PDFs, Excel files, presentations)
• Extract financial metrics (revenue, EBITDA, headcount, etc.)
• Structure the data according to your requirements
• Return extracted data to you in structured format

That's it. AI doesn't make decisions, doesn't access other customers' data, and doesn't learn from your information.

Zero-Retention Processing

We use Anthropic's commercial API with zero-retention:

• Your data is processed in real-time
• Prompts and responses are NOT logged by Anthropic
• Data is immediately discarded after processing
• Anthropic does NOT use your data for training
• This is contractually guaranteed

What AI Sees

When you upload a document, the AI sees:

• The document content (text, numbers, tables)
• Your prompt/instructions (what metrics to extract)
• Context about the portfolio company (name, sector if you provided it)

The AI does NOT see:

• Other customers' data
• Your account information
• Historical data from previous uploads
• Data from other portfolio companies (unless in the same upload)

Human Review

Linga employees do NOT review your documents or extracted data unless:

• You explicitly request support and grant permission
• Required by law (subpoena, court order)

Your Controls

• Choose document retention policies (delete immediately to manual)
• Delete any document or extracted data anytime
• Download all your data in standard formats
• Permanently delete your account and all data
